Our Satiné 5500 fabric is once again futured on the iconic project, thanks to the blinds manufacturer Resstende Srl. Developed by the architectural studios Renzo Piano Building Workshop and OBR, this new complex on the Genoa (Italy) waterfront required solar protection while highlighting the open spaces facing the sea.
The Resstende team has designed 1280 motorized external roller blinds (Dallas 110 model) with our Satiné 5500 fabric colour M02 - White Turquoise Sand, to respect the facade's geometry both with open and closed blinds.
This fabric, composed of 42% fiberglass and 58% PVC, features three threads in white, turquoise, and sand colors, offering a double chromatic effect: bluer on the outside and grayer on the inside. With a 4% openness factor, Satiné 5500 provides excellent visual comfort, reducing solar glare while enhancing the view of the surrounding landscape, and an optimal thermal protection. It's also highly resistant to wind and humidity, which are additional advantages given its proximity to the sea.
Now it's time for the installation, which will be completed after the summer!
